06/17/05 - Day 0

Right after work on friday night, I took the bus down all the way to Chinatown where I hopped onto the greyhound bus to New York City. However, the bus was a little late.. and so I only reached new york at around 10 pm.. but nonetheless I met Shuhui and Junfeng and we went for dinner at this place called "Virgil's BBQ". Awesome I must say.. Something like tony roma's.. but it's better..

We ordered so much but we managed to finish! Oh man.. Shu was saying that it's horrible that people over here eat so much.... Hehe but I guess it's the culture... After dinner... we went back to the apartment that they were being hosted at. Wow I must say, located right at 48th and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan. The toilet was twice the size of my toilet in Philadelphia (and bigger than my toilet in Singapore). Manhattan leh! Heehee, but it was nice, to live like a new yorker in class... I think i might like it...
